Tasting Notes
Quite closed on the nose, but the slate savouriness is evident even in this state. Almost something of truffle in the undertone. Chocolate. On the palate it shows with mellow, slightly sandy tannins, softly grounded, but then also held in balance by the dense tannin structure and ripe acidity, round and smoothly fading away with a vivid tactile mineral accompaniment.
