The sweet and dessert wine »von alten Reben« Traben Gaispfad Riesling Spätlese, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Caspari-Kappel has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Aromas such as stewed plums, fresh Mirabelle plums and apricot stone can be found on the nose. On the palate the wine remains completely unkitschy: with silky phenolics behind the sweetness, a vital but not isolated acid nerve and intense tactile minerality.
