The rosé wine Lichtblick Rosé trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Christian Bamberger – Steinhardter Hof has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Dorsa, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Nahe in Germany.
Bright pink with lilac reflections. Smells of blackcurrant and Dextro Energen tablets, whilst in the mouth there's a completely transparent, unapologetic structure: ripe, cultivated acidity, a suitable pinch of substance, some clearly tactile mineral tones and an expressive, long-lasting fruit. A wonderful terrace wine.
More about the tastingRelatively deep in colour, with slight purple hues in the reflections. Aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry candy, starts on the palate with a slight sweetness, continues full-bodied to almost somewhat corpulent, clear phenolics (matching the colour), firm acidity, mineral notes in the finish. Some suppleness in the background. A full-fledged food companion.
