Concentrated aroma, wood spice, cold smoke, red and dark berry fruit, black cherries, plums, ethereal spice with menthol, cinnamon, cloves, dark chocolate. Substantial yet with fresh elegance on the palate, hearty, well-integrated tannins, lively freshness, compact and dense, certain ageing potential.
More about the tastingToasted wood, nutty aromas, almond, bay leaf and herbs. Sandalwood and candied cherry. The palate shows signs of initial maturity in the bottle: the tannins have retained some graininess but appear softened and refined, the supple base and the ripe savouriness together with the extract combine fullness and very good persistence. A great accompaniment to food!
