The red wine »Machtlust« trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Christian Bamberger – Steinhardter Hof has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Dorsa, Merlot, Cabernet Cortis from the region Nahe in Germany.
Strong cassis initially on the nose, cocoa powder, dark chocolate and blackberry, also black cherry and elderberry. Full-bodied and with good substance on the palate, vivid acidity, juicy blackberries, fine fruity tartness, smooth tannins. Offers a lot at a good rate.
