Pinot nose, somewhat characterized by wood. Soot, roasted hazelnut, toasted notes, some cherry and plum. Bacon. Wild berries and cherry on the palate. The wood remains dominant and uncharming. The finish is somewhat tart and dominated by roasted notes.
