The red wine Zweigelt Neusiedlersee DAC Reserve, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Christoph Hess has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Dark wild berry confit, some ripe berries, liquorice and plums. Medium body, fine wood spice, slightly nutty, cherry fruit on the finish, mineral aftertaste, will benefit from bottle ageing.
