Tasting from 01.09.2020: Ulrich Sautter

Apple skin and malt on the nose, caraway and dark vegetable stock, without the typical varietal aromas. On the palate with a strong but clearly defined structure, tannins and phenolics initially dominate the palate, some apple cider emerges, white pepper, menthol, multi-layered and keeps the palate busy. The finish is slightly tart and animates the next sip.
