Ripe berry fruit on the nose, cherries, strawberries, slightly smoky, slightly peppery, mineral, chalky, chocolate, tobacco. Powerful, juicy, cool on the palate. Firm, ripe tannins, lively acid structure, light and dark fruit, wood savouriness, long on the palate. Good certain ageing potential. Great accompaniment to fully flavoured dishes.
