Tasting from 30.08.2018: Ulrich Sautter

Straw colour with gold reflections. Compote of pears, some herbs, balsamic note, and hay. A fine integration of phenolics and soft tissue, quite subtle, sensitively extracted, almost silky. Ripe, delicate but well supporting acidity, thyme on the palate, and subtle mineral accompaniment. For all its finesse it is also long and expressive.
