Tasting from 19.03.2021: Peter Moser, Ulrich Sauttter, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach

A powerful, almost Mediterranean-style vintage, but with balance and Burgundy grace. Aromas of almond and rosehip with floral undertones.

More about the tasting

Almond and rose hip, also floral notes, restrained wood. After the rather classic German Pinot Noir aroma, the palate surprises with an almost Mediterranean-like volume, the grainy tannin is embedded in suppleness and sweet fruit, the ripe acidity carries, the finish has length and intensity. A powerful vintage, but with balance.
