The red wine Spätburgunder Symphonie trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Doreas has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Aromas of morello cherry with floral undertones, cherry stone, cherry blossom, it has a very fresh and precise expression, and has a restrained oak spiciness. Smoothly primed on the palate, with medium-grained ripe tannins on top, the extract still seems youthfully compact, and although closed the intensity of fruit and body suggests very good ageing potential. It will probably retain the fresh, cool vein even when mature.
