Medium carmine garnet, broad ochre rim. Delicately oxidative underlying nutty notes of prune, elderberry, damp earthy-tobacco savouriness, some tar. Medium body, fine fruit sweetness, discreetly dry tannins, fresh acidity, somewhat astringent, has passed its zenith.
