The white wine »Amphore« Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Eugen Müller has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Well-ripened local fruit, Boskoop apple, pear and also quince with hints of very ripe lemons. A powerful volume on the palate. This "amphora" is tart and fresh on the palate. There is also a firm acidity with a compact finish. Exciting.
