On the nose the slate savouriness dominates over spiced notes (from a cold soak perhaps?), with the first developed, almost malty tones mingling with cassis fruit. On the palate it's voluminous, with creaminess and a full-bodied richness. A lively acidity provides balance and the mellow tannins increase on the finish, whilst always accompanied by tactile minerality.
