Medium crimson garnet, purple reflections, broad and bright rim. Fine oak spice underlies ripe cherry, a hint of fig, discreet nougat touch, kumquat and cardamom note. Complex, juicy, elegant, taut, fresh, red berry fruit, salty, fine tannin, good length, is in its first stage of ageing, some nougat, good further ageing potential.

The palate is complex, juicy, elegant and taut, with fresh, red berry fruit, saltiness and fine tannins. The flavours last well and it has definite ageing potential.
