It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a broad bright rim. There is a lovely aroma of oaky spiciness, with a hint of bourbon vanilla, a floral touch, some ripe plum, and orange zest with a hint of mint. It is juicy, firm, with a tight and fresh structure, some minerality, and a red cherry flavour on the finish. It is already easy to drink, and is an elegant and refined food wine.
