It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. There is a nougat touch underlaid with lovely spiciness, as well as dark berry, ripe plum, and candied orange zest. It is juicy, with a sweet texture, a nice touch of fig, good freshness, strong integrated tannins, and a chocolaty finish. It lingers very well, has reached full maturity, and still has potential for further ageing.
