The sweet and dessert wine Traminer Auslese, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Familie Proidl has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Gewürztraminer, Roter Veltliner from the region Kremstal in Austria.
Medium yellow green in colour with silver reflections. On the nose, a fine hint of pastry with delicate rose oil and honey. Delicately spicy with a pronounced sweetness, ripe yellow peach fruit, some pineapple and a dark minerality. Lingering long on the palate this certainly has potential for further ageing.
