The white wine »Lisbeth«, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Ferdinand Herke has been rated in 2026 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling
Restrained aroma: red apple, yeast, corn flakes. The palate shows a supple foundation, noticeable yeast character here too with notes of grained broth, the acidity is rather discreet, in the finish a layer of mealy phenols takes control of the palate structure. A rather idiosyncratic, but quite substantial wine.
