The red wine »Muschelkalk« Badenheim Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Fischborn Bergeshof has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
A powerful nose with notes of ripe fruit such as cherries, plums, leather, cloves and smoke. Strong and muscular on the palate, the alcohol is noticeable and brings a slight spiciness alongside powerful tannins. There's good volume and substance, for drinking by the fireplace and with food.
