The white wine »Schiefer« Piesport Riesling Kabinett feinherb, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Fischborn Bergeshof has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Clear, rich yellow in colour. The still rather restrained nose shows ripe citrus fruit, mango and apricot nectar. The palate has a mild acidity paired with vivid sweetness of apricot and peach, and a certain spiciness in the background. Medium structure and length, a good aperitif option.
