Wood-driven initial development on the nose: nut and vanilla, wood, but also spicy aromas: aniseed buns, licorice. Phenolic on the palate with subtle acidity, medium volume, taut and almost austere, but also dense and ambitious. Quite mineral and ultimately very pure.
