The red wine Oberbergen Bassgeige Steinriese, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Franz Keller has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lemberger from the region Baden in Germany.
Still almost closed. Wild blueberry, sweet cherry, oak. The oily attack leads directly into a dense, mellow tannin load, the acidity is ripe to mild but nevertheless provides sufficient support. Very good length, but stands out more for the finesse of the extract and its rounded presentation than for its minerality.
