Toasty wood and an earthy Pinot Noir fruit. Juniper, but also some chocolate. Full and vivid on the palate, fine-grained to velvety tannins, powerful body, with initial maturity in the palate fruit, well-integrated acidity and the best certain ageing potential for further rounding off in the course of bottle ageing.
