The red wine »XXL« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Fritz Waßmer has been rated in 2017 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
"XXL" is only the alcohol, otherwise its bouquet shines with a basket of highly ripe sour cherry, which is later also aromatically presented as confit and cherry pralines. Pleasingly acid-fresh and with ethereally phenolics on the palate. It has very good length.
