Fine use of oak, subtly roasted, with savoury notes, some liquorice, corn. Silky and full-bodied on the palate, homogeneous and round in a youthful, quiet manner, delicate yeast character in the palate aromas, playful minerality on the finish. Excellent integration of the wood.
More about the tastingSmoke, moss, pear and quince on the nose. Structured and powerful Chardonnay with plenty of savouriness, substance and good length. Uncompromisingly dry and acid-agile, reminiscent of Burgundy. Good structure, still youthful, has the certain ageing potential to mature.
