The white wine »H.A.D.E.S.« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Fürst Hohenlohe Oehringen has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Lemon zest, aniseed and mint leaves on the nose, plus some smoke and vanilla. Lots of juice and creaminess on the palate with lively, well-balanced acidity, aromas of apple and brioche, well-structured. An excellent food companion that will benefit from bottle ageing.
More about the tastingBaroque style on the nose, without lacking elegance. Lemon zest, aniseed and mint leaves. The mouthfeel is creamy and is broken up by a grippy acidity. Not a lightweight, but ideal for cellaring and allowing it to mature.
