The red wine »Teamwork R« Siefersheim Goldenes Horn Regent trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Gebert has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Regent from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Red cherries, elderberry juice, blackberry and sloe in the fruity, pure nose, also fine herbaceousness. Powerfully built on the palate, full-bodied, integrated acidity, dense, also in the tannins, sloe, elderberry, juicy, bone-dry, mineral.
More about the tastingOn the nose: plum, blackberry and elderberry, also black pepper and an almost chilli-like component. On the palate, the wine flows very smoothly, filled with fine-grained, dense, ripe tannins, the fruit is closed but hints at its potency, the acidity remains rather restrained, the structural length is excellent - as is the outlook on the certain ageing potential. And the wine has mineral undertones!
