Tasting Notes
A blend of Ungeheuer, Freundstück and Pechstein. A touch of nuttiness from new barrels matches a gradually-emerging spice character and tangerine fruit. The palate shows wood-enhanced structure and makes for a broad and rich profile with discreet phenolic character and vital, but well-integrated, acidity. Powerful, with good length, this is a wine rich in substance, wood and terroir at the same time.
