The red wine Pinot Noir Reserve, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Gerhard Markowitsch has been rated in 2011 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Medium garnet colour, delicate ochre tinge, broad watery rim. Fine cherry fruit with floral undertones, delicate raspberry pulp, orange zest, subtle savouriness, a multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, complex, creamy body, fine red berry fruit, vivid tannins, fresh acidity, pronounced fruit, with wild berry on the finish, and a chocolaty finale. It has great potential, and will really blossom in a few years.
