Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, soft brightening on the rim. Dark berry confit underlaid with nuances of noble wood and herbal spice, hints of nougat caramel. Juicy, good complexity, elegant, integrated tannins, subtle fruit on the finish, good persistency, has ageing potential.
