An inviting bouquet, with notes of candied violets, orange peel, cherry confit, sour cherries, hints of cardamom and blackberries. Good complexity, fine acidity, ripe tannins, delicately savoury, with notes of black cherry and tobacco savouriness on the finish. Already approachable, with definite further ageing potential.
