There are some blackberry aroma notes, along with chocolate, a hint of cassis, blood orange zest underlaid with liquorice, and a hint of mint. It is powerful, elegant, with a fine structure, a red berry texture, a lemony minerality, with plum on the finish, sweet fruit on the back palate, and fine oak spice in the background. It is a refined food wine.
