A nuanced fragrance of red and black berries: Cranberry, blackberry, red currant, camphor pepper, also citric undertones, thyme. The palate opens with fine, almost silky tannins, then an elegant acidity slims down the structure, giving the rather cool vintage an impression of solidity and almost richness, without giving up the vertical structure. Mineral on the finish. Stylish!
More about the tastingDelicate aroma of ripe red fruits, underlaid with spices, black cherry, some clove, sloe, blackberry confit and elegant ripeness. On the palate, fresh acidity, lots of tension, very lively, gripping tannins, tobacco, cherry, sloe again and some graphite. Grippy, elegant and a perfect food companion.
