The red wine Schelingen Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Gregor und Thomas Schätzle has been rated in 2017 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
Shows both ripeness and the coolness of the vintage. Brings cherries, also in a confit style, rosehip and some woody undergrowth to the nose. Very clear and elegant on the palate with a fine balance of cherry fruit, acidity and fine-grained tannins.
