Tasting from 17.02.2022: Ulrich Sautter

Cherry, blueberry and stony notes on the nose, with lime, floral notes, bay leaf, autumn leaves, forest floor, also some plum. Builds in the mouth in an unaffected and natural way. Relatively broad in the mouth due to the vintage. Ripe acidity, emphatically dry, sour cherry and red cherry. Shows the limestone terroir of Schweigen: minerality, medium concentration, good length and certain ageing potential.
