The white wine Nackenheim Rothenberg Riesling GG, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Gunderloch has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Along with apple and apple compote, it has aromas of wild fermentation. Silky and supple initially, then broad and grounded, with dry, contrasting phenolics and powerful minerality, it is a massive wine for the 2019 vintage. Currently in a closed phase, it is an enigmatic and surprising wine.
