The white wine Grauburgunder Spätlese trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Hagenbuch has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Spicy notes on the nose, walnut, quince and pear and blossom honey. On the palate the classic Spätlese character shows with ripe pear, honeydew melon, spice and well integrated fruit sweetness. The ripe acidity works well and provides excellent length.
