Dark ruby colour, opaque core, purple reflections, slightly watery rim. Fine oaky notes, delicate sweet spices, ripe cherry, underlaid with a pleasant blackberry flavour, some nougat. Full-bodied, very good complexity, sweet cherry fruit, subtle hints of caramel, fine supporting tannins, lingers for a long time, chocolaty finish, great promise for the future.
