The red wine Cuvée Sasso Rosso Reserve, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Hecher has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties St. Laurent, Zweigelt, Merlot from the region Thermenregion in Austria.
Deep ruby garnet colour, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Ripe herbal notes, a hint of cassis, chocolate, a hint of liquorice, some roasted aromas. Medium body, fine tannin structure, sweet fruit, dark wild berries, nougat touch on the finish, good food wine.
