The red wine Binger Kirchberg Spätburgunder, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Hemmes has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Initially more savoury than fruity, bay leaf, almond, but then also sweet cherry and ripe raspberry. Dense on the palate, firm but ripe tannins, still very youthful and compact, very good proportions, controlled alcohol, subtly fresh and fruity on the finish. A complete Pinot Noir that is designed to age well.
