The white wine »Ludwigs Leidenschaft«, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Honold has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sauvignac, Cabernet Blanc from the region Baden in Germany.
An aroma of cooked green bell peppers and also something like grappa, notes of grape marc. On the palate, the wine is emphatically full-bodied, with ripe phenolics, a firm acid backbone and well-integrated residual sweetness. The full-bodied, quite grown-up palate structure gives the wine very good certain ageing potential.
