The white wine Escherndorf am Lumpen 1655 Silvaner GG, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Horst Sauer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Candied fruit, cassata, also floral tones, some candy, ripe fruit. In the mouth, the wine appears very direct and with its straightforward texture vinified for ageing potential, strong acidity, the fermentation esters flash through on the finish, but this will disappear in the course of bottle maturation.
