The semi-sparkling carbonated wine »Müllerchen« Secco extra trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Hungermüller has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 88+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Müller-Thurgau from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The "Müllerchen" has lots of fruit on the nose, apple and also ripe mirabelle plums with herbal notes. Slender and delicate on the palate with plenty of juice, fruit and residual sweetness. The sparkling carbonic acid provides drive and zest, so a glass is almost always a good idea.
