Tasting Notes
Day one: Smoke on the first nose, open and inviting, mineral notes, green apple, white grapefruit, peach, lemon zest, stony notes. Juicy and dense on the palate, a supple mineral base, ripe acidity carries the fruit, salty and intensifying on the finish, a full-bodied, accessible and gluggable Ortswein wine. Day two: More intense aroma, peach, apricot, tangerine, stony notes. A little more mineral on the palate, saltier with a juicy and supple base, beautiful length. Day three: Intense and warm ripe aroma, quince, peach, nectarine in the foreground, grapefruit, subtle honeycomb. More citrus fruit on the palate, the acidity is softer, round and accessible.
