The red wine Zweigelt Steinäcker, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Jahner has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Dark garnet colour, an opaque core, with purple hues, subtle brightening on the rim. Finely spiced, dark berry confit, a subtle touch of oak, a hint of nougat. Powerful, firm tannins, ripe red cherries, tightly woven, still a little demanding, will benefit from further ageing.
