Tasting Notes
Reddish gold. Aromas of orange confit and malt with a touch of oxidation. Massive on the palate, oily, very fine phenolics, mild acidity, a Burgundian style full of texture and fullness. Despite the high alcohol content (15%) the wine seems in balance, although the balance is more that of a white amarone than of a typical riesling.
