The red wine Carneval, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Josef Fischer has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Weinviertel in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet colour, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Tobacco nuances, dark forest berries, some blackberries and cassis, a hint of orange zest. Medium body, some nougat, fine cherry fruit, well-integrated tannins, mineral, a powerful food wine.
