Deep, dark ruby-garnet color, opaque core, violet highlights, delicate leg. Smoky, with dark berry fruit underpinned by subtle notes of fine wood, and a tobacco-like spice. Full-bodied, with delicate notes of blackberries and a hint of licorice; well-integrated tannins, a touch of chocolate, and a salty finish—a complex wine that pairs well with food.
